Because cleaning and unpacking (yes, still!) are common practice at our place, there is still a chance you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you unearth. A few days ago, I stumbled upon some of Kane’s old shirts, including a personal favourite of mine: his Toronto Rocks t-shirt from 2003.

Look, I’m not going to pretend like I have earth-shatteringly creative ways to style a t-shirt, so I’ll leave you with one outfit I put together and really like. Still trying to figure out how to make it winter-friendly.

As I’ve said before, I’m hoping that limiting my spending when it comes to clothes will force me to get more creative with the pieces in my wardrobe, and this was a fun, first exercise. I had a pretty specific outfit in my mind when I purchased those pants, and that vest came with a jacket I bought. I hadn’t worn either very much, and I also hadn’t thought about wearing them together, but I felt really cool in this!
I also found an old Raptors jersey, and Kane gave me another old t-shirt from on my favourite local brands, No Fun, so I am a very happy gal who spent $0 and received new clothes!
