I had an all-black outfit on, and my mask was covering my tired-ass face. That was reason enough to document this ~look~ as far as I’m concerned.

I should also add that Miles was with me (because he is ALWAYS with me), but he was asleep in his stroller, or as I now like to call it, my new tripod.
Taking these photos , and now looking at them, is strange, because if I wasn’t wearing my mask, this could be a pre-baby blog post. It’s so weird to see something that looks like the “old me,” especially since I feel anything but. I’m trying to be patient as I settle into this same, same, but different Kate—although, I will admit, some days are tougher than others.

I think today was one of my tougher days, for sure. That’s why even though it took 45 minutes, I got Miles and I ready and out of the house, just so I could go for a walk, and Miles could get a good nap in his stroller. We had nowhere to go and no one to meet, but it ended up being a good day, nonetheless.
