Left the house for a bagel and lox (to go), and while I wanted to capture an #ootd for the ‘gram outdoors, and in the presence of my Instagram husband, Miles just wasn’t letting me do my thing. So instead, I present you with a blurry, self-timer photo taken in our apartment.
I mean, let’s be real, it’s not like I haven’t worn a combo like this before—it’s kind of become one of my uniform outfits. I think I just wanted to document the outfit, ’cause it’s likely the last time I’ll wear shorts to go out. The weather’s been warm, but I have always felt strange wearing summer clothes after August, and it’s already damn near October!

Now that’s a more interesting photo. Look at that cross-section! Always down for some Schmaltz Appetizing.
Getting out of the house is taking a lot longer than it used to, with setting up a stroller, wrangling a squirmy baby, and the near-crippling anxiety of rising COVID-19 cases in the city, but we’re keeping our social circle VERY SMALL, and also keeping our outings to a minimum. A gal just needs to go outside and see/talk to an adult once in a while, you know?

Honestly, the inevitable cold weather is looming over my mind like a dark, ominous cloud. I just want to (responsibly) take advantage of the warm weather while we’ve got it!
