Hello again!

I tried to find a friendlier photo, but I realized that I don’t generally look friendly, so I thought this would be appropriate.

This may be my first blog post as katestlouis.com, but I’ve been blogging for a few years now, and I used to be found at nevernotinblack. It hadn’t ever occurred to me to just use my name, instead of a “fun” title, since my name used to be so difficult to pronounce. However, since I’ve assumed a new (easy-to-pronounce) last name, thanks to the institution of marriage, I thought this would be a good time to start.

I have also started to (very slowly) add some colour to my wardrobe—and my life, in general—so “nevernotinblack” just didn’t seem super appropriate anymore, you know? We’ll talk more about the colour in my life later, cool?
