REMIXING TRADITION

I have some really talented friends.

Just saying.
If you’ve read my blog before, you might know Ketzia as my friend/sometimes photographer/sometimes tattoo partner. Ketzia, along with her classmate and fellow talented artist, Erin MacQuarrie, put together an exhibit: Remixing Tradition, this week at Black Cat Artspace. The exhibit is on until Sunday, April 16th, so make sure to stop on by and look at their incredible pieces!
I’m no art critic, so I’m not going to do their work a disservice by trying to describe it and talk about what it’s all supposed to be about, so please see it for your self. All I know is that they both put their hearts into their work and it absolutely shows. I have such respect for people who pursue their passion, especially in the arts. It’s so scary to put your work out there for everyone to see, so I applaud Ketzia and Erin for what they’ve done here. I mean, just look at it!
