You know when you’re approaching laundry day, and like, you REALLY need to do laundry soon?
Well, that’s how I arrived at this outfit. I haven’t worn these trousers since Thanksgiving, I think. It’s not that I don’t like them—it’s just that for the first time in my life, wide leg trousers are just at the cusp of being too short for me. I can’t really wear them with any of my boots, so I tried them on with my sneakers, and that worked fine for my purposes, being that I just need to get out of the house for a little bit, and I’ll be sitting at a coffee shop most of the time, anyway.
It’s not necessarily a dressed-up outfit, but I was getting a little tired of alternating between ripped jeans and pyjamas, so I thought I’d switch it up.
Also, on an unrelated note, I’ve been really loving this shade of lipstick lately. Just as I was starting to regret my purchase, too.
Do you have those back-of-the-closet pieces that don’t typically see the light of day unless all of your usual faves have ended up in the laundry hamper?
