Pleats, and ruffles, and grainy photos taken at dusk, oh my!
It’s not typically my style, but today, I brought a whole lot of drama with me to work.
No, I’m not talking gossip/conflict drama—I never have any of that. The kind of drama I’m talking about is a dramatic silhouette. Between the bell sleeves, the cat-eye glasses, and the pleated skirt, I felt like my own personal sartorial soap opera: The Young-ish and The Tired. By nature, I’m a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal, but there’s something about summer and not having to layer sweaters and jackets and scarves, etc. that really gets me excited about trying new styles (in black) that I wouldn’t typically go for.
